The invention relates to an existing building reserved outer wall supporting system and a construction method thereof.The existing building reserved outer wall supporting system comprises segmented vertical pipe assemblies, transverse rods and inclined rods, the at least two segmented vertical pipe assemblies are arranged in parallel, and the multiple transverse rods and the multiple inclined rods are arranged between the two segmented vertical pipe assemblies from top to bottom; a triangle is defined by the inclined rods, the segmented vertical pipe assemblies and the transverse rods or the floor slabs, and the joints of the segmented vertical pipe assemblies, the transverse rods and the inclined rods are connected through node assemblies. According to the retaining outer wall supporting system for the existing building and the construction method of the retaining outer wall supporting system, the retaining outer wall supporting system can adapt to construction of an outer wall supporting system with a liner replaced by a thermos bottle under limited site conditions, and construction can be conducted very conveniently and rapidly under the condition that clearance is limited or in a building which cannot be hoisted or holed; construction is convenient, manual carrying can be achieved, and a supporting system is easy and fast to disassemble and assemble; the equipment can be reused, and the economic benefit is high.
