The door and window assembly comprises a mounting frame body and a sash body, the sash body comprises a fixed sash and a sliding sash, the fixed sash is fixedly connected with the mounting frame body, one end of the sliding sash is slidably connected with the mounting frame body, external threads are arranged on the mounting frame body, and internal threads matched with the external threads on the mounting frame body are arranged at the other end of the sliding sash; the drainage assembly comprises a sealing mechanism and a baffle, a drainage groove is formed in the mounting frame, the sealing mechanism is mounted at the end of the drainage groove, the baffle is fixedly mounted on the mounting frame and located above the sealing mechanism, and a water absorption part is fixedly connected to the side of the baffle. The problem that a traditional aluminum alloy door and window cannot achieve the drainage function is solved, and the aluminum alloy door and window has the advantages of being simple in structure, low in production cost and good in drainage effect.
