The invention provides an inter-building gap protection device which comprises a bottom plate and side plates rotationally connected to the two ends of the bottom plate correspondingly, the width of the bottom plate and the width of the side plates are larger than the width of an inter-building gap, the side plates are perpendicular to the bottom plate, and the sides, away from the bottom plate, of the side plates are provided with jacking components; the jacking component comprises two jacking screw combinations which are symmetrically arranged about the center line of the side plate, jacking nuts of the jacking screw combinations are fixed to the side plate, and jacking bolts are arranged in the jacking nuts; the bottom plate is erected on the upper portion of the horizontal inter-building gap, the side plates are attached to the vertical inter-building gap, and the puller bolts abut against the inner wall of the vertical inter-building gap. The device is firmly installed at the expansion joint, a horizontal gap and a vertical gap between two buildings are integrally closed, and the device can be repeatedly used.
