An intelligent traffic signal lamp for urban traffic disclosed by the present invention comprises a signal lamp pole and a basic traffic light on the signal lamp pole, the signal lamp pole is provided with a mounting seat, the mounting seat is provided with a folding cavity, the folding cavity is internally provided with a lifting structure, the lifting structure is connected with a lifting seat, and the lifting seat is fixedly provided with a spraying machine. The bottom of the basic traffic light is provided with a reflective seat through an overturning shaft, the top of the basic traffic light is provided with a light guide projection structure, the basic traffic light is obliquely provided with a telescopic sleeve rod, the top end of the telescopic sleeve rod is connected with a lifting seat through a retraction rope, and the telescopic sleeve rod is provided with an auxiliary light-emitting signal structure. A cover plate is mounted on the mounting seat through a spring guide rod with an inclined end, and the cover plate is driven to open and close through a driving structure; the intelligent traffic signal lamp provided by the invention can overcome the limitation of a visual angle, can be automatically switched to a dry-type lamp signal extension state or a wet-type lamp signal extension state, and reduces the phenomenon of running the red light by mistake.
