The traffic electronic signboard comprises a box body, a stand column and a fixing frame, the stand column is connected with the fixing frame through a bolt, the box body is fixedly connected with the fixing frame, a heat dissipation chamber and a mounting chamber are arranged in the box body, a mounting opening is formed in the inner wall of one side of the mounting chamber, and the stand column is fixedly connected with the fixing frame. An electronic signboard body is installed on the inner wall of the installation opening, a protection mechanism is arranged on the outer wall of the top of the box body and comprises a solar cell panel and two protection plates, and second springs are connected between the two sides of the outer wall of the bottom of the solar cell panel and the box body through bolts. The protection range of the protection mechanism can be conveniently enlarged, so that the protection effect of the protection mechanism on the electronic signboard is improved, and the situation that part of rainwater adheres to the surface of the electronic signboard due to large rainwater, and consequently the sight of a driver is blocked is prevented; rainwater can be prevented from permeating into the electronic signboard to damage the electronic signboard.
