The automatic garbage cleaning mechanism comprises an automatic garbage cleaning mechanism body fixedly installed in a water conservancy ditch, and the automatic garbage cleaning mechanism body comprises a slag supporting plate fixedly connected between the inner wall of the front side and the inner wall of the rear side of the water conservancy ditch; two first supports are fixedly connected to the left side of the top of the slag supporting plate. The device does not need to use electric power to drive equipment to operate, the water wheel blades can be impacted by kinetic energy of water flow when water flows, then the sewage cleaning tooth rake is driven to rotate for sewage cleaning operation, 24-hour continuous driving and rotating sewage cleaning can be achieved, and therefore the electric energy cost can be saved while flowing water is cleaned in real time; the mechanism can automatically adjust the cleaning height according to the height of the water level, prevents the phenomenon that the cleaning tooth rake is separated from the water surface, does not need personnel to frequently observe and adjust the mounting position, is convenient to use, saves time and labor, and reduces the labor cost.
