The invention provides a fixing device for a steel plate mesh, the steel plate mesh comprises a rectangular mesh plate and a frame body which is fixed on one side of the mesh plate and arranged along the edge of the mesh plate, the fixing device comprises a telescopic rod with one end fixedly connected to a scaffold and capable of being telescopically adjusted; the U-shaped groove is fixedly connected to the top of the other end of the telescopic rod; the L-shaped groove is fixedly connected to the telescopic rod and located at the bottom of the U-shaped groove, and an opening is formed in the side portion, close to the scaffold, of the L-shaped groove; and the limiting piece is arranged on the telescopic rod in a position-adjustable manner. The steel plate net is clamped in the U-shaped grooves and the L-shaped grooves, so that stable connection of the steel plate net and flatness of the outer vertical face can be guaranteed, the steel plate net is directly and fixedly connected to the scaffold through the telescopic rods, and therefore the steel plate net can be fixed to the side face of the scaffold, use of a large number of clamping pieces is avoided, and the laying efficiency of the steel plate net is improved.
