The invention relates to a truss type tower crane foundation and a construction method, and the truss type tower crane foundation comprises at least two bracket sections which are respectively fixed on pier walls of two adjacent bridge piers; the connecting section is used for connecting the two bracket sections; and the tower crane foundation is used for mounting a tower crane, and the tower crane foundation is fixed on the connecting section. The assembled parts are firstly machined in a factory, the machining quality of the components is guaranteed, then the whole foundation is divided into four sections to be installed, the installation procedures are reduced, and the construction time for occupying a main body structure is shortened; the tower crane foundation is arranged on the side face of the pier body and is far away from the water surface, so that the rusting probability of the foundation is reduced, the pile foundation is saved, the free height of the tower crane is reduced, and the number of the tower crane attached to the wall is reduced. Therefore, the construction quality of the tower crane foundation is guaranteed, the use of materials is reduced, and meanwhile, the use range of the tower crane foundation under different hydrological or geological conditions is widened.
