The invention discloses a mechanical reinforcing steel bar butt joint sleeve which comprises a cylindrical shell, two first through holes and a second through hole, and the diameter of the cross section of the inner wall of the cylindrical shell is gradually increased from the two ends to the center; the two jacking cams penetrate through the two first through holes respectively, each jacking cam is provided with a first part and a second part which are adjacent to each other, the first part is located in the cylindrical shell, and the thickness of the first part is smaller than that of the second part; the two stop bolts respectively penetrate through the second through holes from two opposite directions, and each stop bolt is correspondingly in low connection with the second part of the corresponding jacking cam; the four clamping pieces are partially contained in the cylindrical shell and clamp a reinforcing steel bar in the cylindrical shell, each clamping piece is provided with an inclined part contained in the cylindrical shell and a straight part exposed out of the cylindrical shell, and the outer surface of the inclined part inclines outwards in the direction close to the center of the cylindrical shell; the two clamping piece pull rings are located at the two ends of the cylindrical shell respectively, and each clamping piece pull ring is connected with the straight portions of the two opposite clamping pieces in a sleeved mode.
