The invention discloses a steel bar sleeve rapid assembly butt joint device and a butt joint method. The butt joint device comprises steel bar sleeve clamping plates arranged at the two ends of a steel bar cage and used for being matched with steel bar sleeves at the ends of prestressed main reinforcements of the steel bar cage and a tensioning plate used for positioning and installing tensioning screws connected with the steel bar sleeves. The steel bar sleeve clamping plate is of a split structure and comprises an upper clamping plate and a lower clamping plate, the upper clamping plate and the lower clamping plate are connected through a tightening mechanism, and the upper clamping plate and the lower clamping plate are provided with positioning holes matched with prestressed main bars. The sides, close to the corresponding prestressed main reinforcements, of the positioning holes are provided with through grooves allowing the prestressed main reinforcements to enter for steel bar sleeve assembling, and a limiting mechanism is arranged on the butt joint face of the upper clamping plate and the lower clamping plate. The steel reinforcement cage prestressed main reinforcements and the steel reinforcement sleeves are fixed and positioned through the detachable steel reinforcement sleeve clamping plates, the assembling and butt joint difficulty of the steel reinforcement sleeves is reduced, rapid and accurate connection is achieved, and the operation efficiency is improved.
