The invention relates to a butt joint conversion construction method for a ground wall reinforcement cage. Firstly, a conversion cage steel structure frame is machined according to the designed reinforcement cage size; steel bars on the steel framework are blanked according to the requirement for the staggered size of the connector, and sleeve threads are manufactured; then, according to the requirements for the steel bar design distance and the connector staggering size, steel bars are welded to the conversion cage steel structure frame; an upper reinforcement cage and a lower reinforcement cage of the ground wall are manufactured through the conversion cage steel structure frame, and the reinforcement cages are smoothly connected into grooves in a butt joint mode. A section of conversion cage is provided for reinforcement cage joint processing, when the reinforcement cage is processed in sections, the upper joint and the lower joint are respectively butted with the conversion cage, and the butt joint quality of the reinforcement cage in a groove is ensured.
