The invention discloses an expansion joint construction method for an assembly type airport pavement, which is characterized in that efficient cleaning and pressing of an expansion joint are realized through batten crack pouring equipment in cooperation with a cleaning and pressing construction method; the batten crack pouring equipment comprises an operation device, a crack cleaning device, a batten device, a crack pouring device and a power control system. The operation device comprises a main supporting plate, a front operation wheel assembly, a rear operation wheel assembly and a gear motor assembly. The joint cleaning device comprises a dust collection mechanism, a dust collection pipe fitting and an electric steel wire brush assembly. The strip pressing device comprises a foam strip rolling box, a foam strip driving mechanism, a foam strip guiding frame and a pressing wheel mechanism. The crack pouring device comprises a sealant barrel, a sealant drainage mechanism and a sealant injection guide pipe assembly. The expansion joint construction method is used for more efficient expansion joint batten crack pouring construction in the pavement construction process of airport runways, flying areas and navigation station areas.
