The assembly type pavement for the airport comprises a base layer and a surface layer laid on the base layer, the surface layer is used for constructing the pavement of the airport and comprises a plurality of regular hexagonal prefabricated slabs which are tightly connected, each regular hexagonal prefabricated slab comprises a prefabricated slab body, prestressed steel bars are arranged in the prefabricated slab bodies, the ends of the prestressed steel bars extend out of the boundaries of the prefabricated slab bodies, and the prestressed steel bars are arranged in the prefabricated slab bodies. Any two adjacent regular hexagon prefabricated slabs are fixedly connected into a whole through the prestressed steel bars. According to the assembly type pavement for the airport and the construction method of the assembly type pavement, the technical problems that an existing assembly type airport pavement is complex in connecting structure and various in construction procedure, the engineering quality is not easy to guarantee, and joints between plates are long due to the fact that existing prefabricated plates are long in perimeter can be solved.
