The water conservancy and hydropower engineering vertical seam type fishway and fishway evaluation system comprises a fishway body and an optimization assembly arranged in the fishway, the fishway body comprises a side wall and a partition plate structure arranged on the side wall, the partition plate structure divides the fishway body into a conventional chamber and a turning section, and the partition plate structure comprises long partition plates and short partition plates; the long partition plate and the short partition plate are oppositely arranged, a pool chamber vertical seam is reserved between the long partition plate and the short partition plate, the conventional chamber and the turning section are communicated through the pool chamber vertical seam, the fishway body further comprises an inlet and an outlet which are communicated with the conventional chamber, the inlet comprises a high-flow-speed inlet and a low-flow-speed inlet, and the fishway body comprises a high-flow-speed fishway body and a low-flow-speed fishway body; the high-flow-rate inlet is arranged at one end of the high-flow-rate fishway, and the low-flow-rate inlet is arranged at one end of the low-flow-rate fishway. The method and the reference for evaluating the quality of the water flow structure of the fishway are established, and a biological basis is provided for hydraulic design and body type improvement research of the fishway.
