The invention provides a bidirectional water supply and drainage system suitable for a large water supply pump station, which comprises a differential pressure transmitter arranged on a bypass pipe of a cooler; the cooler is provided with a cooler water supply pipe, a cooler water supply bypass pipe, a cooler drainage pipe and a cooler drainage bypass pipe; the cooler water supply pipe is communicated to the water inlet side of the cooler, and the cooler water supply bypass pipe is communicated to the water drainage side of the cooler; the cooler drainage pipe is communicated to the drainage side of the cooler, and the cooler drainage bypass pipe is communicated to the water inlet side of the cooler; the cooler water supply pipe, the cooler water supply bypass pipe, the cooler water drainage pipe and the cooler water drainage bypass pipe are each provided with an electric valve and a service valve, and the multiple electric valves are matched to achieve forward water inflow or directional water inflow of the cooler. The invention can effectively solve the problems of sediment deposition and aquatic organism attachment of the cooler pipeline, and ensures the reliability of a pump station technology water supply system.
