The invention relates to a template lower opening gap blocking method, which comprises a to-be-poured concrete wall arranged on a bottom poured concrete floor, the to-be-poured concrete wall comprises arranged horizontal steel bars and vertical steel bars, and the method further comprises the following steps: determining a structure side line; fixing the dense-mesh steel wire mesh; template positioning steel bars are welded; fixing a vertical template; and pouring the to-be-poured concrete wall. Wherein the dense-mesh steel wire mesh is used for blocking a gap of a lower opening of the formwork. Compared with a traditional mode that lower opening gaps of formworks are blocked through cement mortar, the problems of voids, pitted surfaces, rotten roots and holes in the roots of vertical components such as wall columns can be effectively solved, the concrete pouring quality is improved, the requirements for impression and structural safety are met, cost increase caused by chiseling and repairing is avoided, the purposes of cost reduction and efficiency improvement are achieved, and application and popularization value is achieved.
