The invention provides red mud cement-based foamed concrete. The red mud cement-based foamed concrete comprises red mud, cement, hydrogen peroxide, a foam stabilizer and a waterproof agent, the proportion of the red mud is 40%-60%, and the proportion of the cement is 60%-40%; the method for preparing the foamed concrete from the red mud, the cement, the hydrogen peroxide, the foam stabilizer and the waterproof agent comprises the following steps: S1, pouring the red mud and the cement into equipment according to a specified proportion; and S2, after the red mud and the cement in the S1 are poured into the equipment, pouring the hydrogen peroxide, the foam stabilizer and the waterproof agent into the equipment according to a proper proportion, and stirring to obtain the foamed concrete. According to the red mud cement-based foamed concrete provided by the invention, when the foamed concrete is manufactured, the hydrogen peroxide, the foam stabilizer and the waterproof agent are respectively added into the raw materials, namely the red mud and the cement, so that the use amount of the hydrogen peroxide can be conveniently adjusted according to an actual ratio, and the adjustment can be performed according to different volume weights and different strength requirements.
