The invention provides a portable train track detector, which comprises a telescopic system suitable for stretching across two tracks through stretching; the rolling system is arranged on the telescopic system so as to provide supporting and rolling movement for the telescopic system; the brake system is connected to one side of the rolling system so as to brake the rolling system; the detection system comprises a track gauge detection unit and a bolt detection unit, and the track gauge detection unit and the bolt detection unit are connected to the rolling system so as to be used for detecting the track gauge and bolt flaw detection conditions of the track respectively; the instrument adjusting system comprises a detector and a mounting bracket, the detector is mounted on the upper surface of the mounting bracket, and the detector is electrically connected with the track gauge detection unit and the bolt detection unit. The portable train track detector is designed to serve as a simple judgment basis for maintenance completion of a track during maintenance of the track, the structure is simple, operation is convenient, and the workload of maintenance workers is greatly reduced.
