The invention relates to a karst area heavy haul railway existing line reinforcement construction method which comprises the following steps: carrying out underground hole body detection on an existing line, and determining a reinforcement construction area; a hanger rail beam is arranged on the existing line, and the hanger rail beam penetrates through all the reinforcing construction areas; the positions of optical cables and electric cables of the existing line are ascertained and protected, a plurality of grouting hole sets are distributed in the reinforcement construction area, drilling and grouting are conducted at the positions of the grouting holes, after grouting is completed, the electric cables and the optical cables are restored to the original positions, and the hanger rail beam is dismantled. According to the reinforcement construction method for the existing line of the heavy haul railway in the karst area, by arranging the hanger rail beam and protecting the optical cable and the electric cable, normal operation of the existing line is not affected by grouting reinforcement construction, and the reinforcement construction method has the advantages of being low in cost, high in applicability and small in damage.
