The plastic-retaining mortar additive disclosed by the invention can reduce the shrinkage rate of mortar, the plastic-retaining mortar additive disclosed by the invention is added according to the dosage of 0.55 wt% of the cement dosage, the 28d shrinkage rate is tested according to the methods in GB/T25181-2019 and JGJ/T70-2009, and the 28d shrinkage rate is 0.11-0.12%.
