The invention provides a split assembly type self-resetting damper which comprises a guide rod penetrating into a first cylinder body and a second cylinder body filled with damping materials, a first limiting plate, a first piston piece, an elastic piece, a second piston piece and a second limiting plate are arranged in the first cylinder body, and the guide rod penetrates through the first limiting plate, the first piston piece, the elastic piece, the second piston piece and the second limiting plate in sequence and abut against one another. Except the first limiting plate and the second limiting plate, the other parts can slide relative to the guide rod, and the ends, away from the elastic piece, of the first piston piece and the second piston piece abut against the first cylinder body. The first limiting plate is arranged in a first cavity in the end, away from the elastic piece, of the first piston piece, the second limiting plate is arranged in a second cavity in the end, away from the elastic piece, of the second piston piece, and a damping plate arranged on the guide rod is arranged in the second cylinder body. The self-resetting damper achieves self-resetting through the elastic piece, and damping energy consumption is achieved through the damping material.
