The invention relates to the technical field of bridges, and provides a main tower hoisting method of a special-shaped space tower curve cable-stayed bridge, which comprises the following steps: hoisting two base tower sections; a first guide backup plate is installed on the side wall of the top end of each base tower section, and the first guide backup plates protrude out of the top faces of the base tower sections; a first telescopic cross arm is installed at the top ends of the two base tower sections, and the distance between the top ends of the two base tower sections is adjusted through the first telescopic cross arm; a herringbone tower section is hoisted to the positions above the two base tower sections, and the two bottom ends of the herringbone tower section slide to the top ends of the corresponding base tower sections along the corresponding first guide backup plates correspondingly; and the first telescopic cross arms are adjusted, so that the two bottom ends of the herringbone tower section are accurately in butt joint with the top ends of the corresponding base tower sections. Therefore, the installation efficiency and speed of the main tower of the special-shaped space tower curve cable-stayed bridge are improved.
