The invention discloses a layered and segmented earth excavation method for a super-large foundation pit, which comprises the following steps: step 1, constructing a first layer of diagonal bracings and diagonal bracings before excavation, excavating earth in a central area and a peripheral area of the first layer of the foundation pit, and constructing a plurality of unearthed ramps at the edge of the foundation pit; step 2, after the excavation of the first layer of foundation pit is completed, constructing a second layer of diagonal bracings, sequentially constructing the diagonal bracings on the two sides, excavating a second layer of peripheral area, and then excavating earthwork of a second layer of central area; thirdly, after the foundation pit on the upper layer is excavated, the second step is repeated to excavate the foundation pit on the lower layer till the foundation pit on the last but one layer is constructed; and fourthly, after construction of the foundation pit of the last but one layer is completed, the last layer of diagonal bracings is constructed, earthwork of the central area of the last layer is excavated, then the diagonal bracings on the two sides are sequentially constructed, and earthwork of the peripheral area is excavated. The construction process is smooth and orderly, the construction cost is saved, the construction steps are reasonable and orderly, the foundation pit is not prone to deformation and high in stability in the excavation process, the construction safety is improved, and the hidden danger of collapse is eradicated.
