The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing a carbon fiber skeleton; s2, graphite powder and asphalt mixture filling-carbonization: graphite powder and asphalt are uniformly mixed, a carbon fiber skeleton is filled with the mixture, vibration treatment is performed to enable the mixture to be compacted, and then the mixture is put into a carbonization furnace to be subjected to carbonization treatment; s3, asphalt impregnation-carbonization: impregnating the blank obtained in the S2 with asphalt, and performing carbonization treatment; s4, graphitization treatment is conducted, specifically, the blank obtained in the S3 is subjected to graphitization treatment, and the treatment temperature is 2500 DEG C; and S5, repeating the steps S3 and S4 for many times to obtain the composite material with the density of 1.85 g/cm < 3 > or above. Compared with a C/C composite material preparation method, the preparation method has the characteristics of rapidness and low cost, and has the characteristic of high strength compared with a graphite material.
