The invention belongs to the technical field of concrete, and particularly discloses a geopolymer concrete coating material. The foaming material is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 17.13 percent to 19.65 percent of water, 11.20 percent to 13.02 percent of water glass, 31.73 percent to 51.59 percent of fly ash, 12.41 percent to 32.27 percent of metakaolin, 3.71 percent to 4.90 percent of a foaming agent, 0.20 percent to 0.41 percent of manganese dioxide and 0.01 percent to 0.03 percent of calcium stearate. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the geopolymer concrete coating material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) weighing the raw materials according to the weight ratio; (2) uniformly mixing fly ash, metakaolin, manganese dioxide and calcium stearate; (3) adding water glass, and uniformly stirring; and (4) continuously stirring at a low speed, adding water while stirring, stirring for a certain time, adding a foaming agent, and quickly stirring for 20 seconds to obtain the geopolymer concrete coating material. The concrete has the characteristics of light weight, heat preservation, heat insulation and the like in use performance, the problems of corrosion of steel bars in concrete caused by carbonization and the like can be solved, and the durability of a concrete structure is further improved.
