The invention discloses an anti-seepage structure for a homogeneous earth dam heightening project and a construction method. The anti-seepage structure comprises an anti-seepage layer for heightening the upstream slope surface of the rear dam body, inclined grouting curtains on the left bank and the right bank, an anti-seepage film connecting abutment at the upstream dam foot position, dam foundation grouting galleries on the two sides of the river valley, an anti-seepage wall below the abutment and a grouting curtain. The galleries are used for construction of vertical grouting curtain grouting pipes on two banks of the dam foundation; and the abutment is used for connecting the anti-seepage structure below the dam foundation with the geomembrane. The homogeneous earth dam heightening project anti-seepage structure has the advantages that the flexibility is good, and the construction is flexible; the geomembrane is embedded and connected at the periphery, so that the connecting part of the geomembrane and the grouting curtain is not easy to crack and seep water; the river valley form is fully considered, the inclined grouting curtain and the vertical grouting curtain are adopted to form an anti-seepage structure, and the anti-seepage effect of the heightened dam is enhanced.
