Provided is a window regulator capable of supporting, with a simple configuration, a cable laid between a drive unit and a pulley. The window regulator is provided with: a support plate (3) for supporting a window glass (G) of a vehicle; a guide rail (2) which is provided along the lifting direction of the window glass (G), supports the pallet (3), and enables the pallet (3) to slide freely; an ascending-side cable (4) that pulls the pallet (3); a drive unit (6) that is disposed at one end of the guide rail (2) in the raising/lowering direction and that drives the raising-side cable (4); and a pulley (7) that is disposed at the other end of the guide rail (2) in the lifting direction and that changes the direction of the rising-side cable (4), the rising-side cable (4) disposed between the pulley (7) and the pallet (3) being located at a position offset from the guide rail (2), and the rising-side cable (4) disposed between the drive unit (6) and the pulley (7) being located on the guide rail (2) and being in pressing contact with the guide rail (2).
