Forsterite composite brick and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a forsterite composite brick which is composed of a working layer and an insulating layer. The working layer takes magnesium iron sand, hercynite sand and fused magnesite as main raw materials, and the insulating layer is prepared from medium-heavy synthetic forsterite sand, medium-light synthetic magnetite sand, corundum particles, fine magnesium powder and rice hull ash through the steps of burdening, mixing, forming, drying and firing. The working layer of the composite brick has relatively strong corrosion resistance and good thermal shock stability, is easy to adhere to the kiln wall and has low thermal conductivity, and the insulating layer has good high-temperature volume stability, high mechanical strength and low thermal conductivity. Therefore, the composite brick can be used in a high-temperature area of a rotary cement kiln and is long in service life. And the heat dissipation loss of the kiln body can be obviously reduced, and good energy-saving and emission-reducing effects are achieved.
