The friction energy dissipation shock absorber with the displacement amplification function comprises a lower building body and an upper building body which are distributed from bottom to top, a shock insulation seam is formed between the upper side of the lower building body and the lower side of the upper building body, and a displacement amplification rod is arranged on one side of the shock insulation seam; the upper side of the lower building body and the lower side of the upper building body are each provided with a universal rotating supporting structure used for conducting universal rotating supporting on the displacement amplifying rod, and the position, located between the two universal rotating supporting structures, of the displacement amplifying rod is provided with an elastic telescopic rod connecting structure. Friction energy dissipation assemblies are arranged between the upper end and the lower end of the displacement amplification rod and the upper building body and between the upper end and the lower end of the displacement amplification rod and the lower building body correspondingly. The friction energy dissipation assembly and the damping energy dissipation assembly can achieve dissipation of seismic energy transmission.
