The invention relates to the technical field of pavement maintenance, and discloses road and bridge maintenance equipment which comprises a movable base, a cleaning box, a lifting mechanism, a slot recognition assembly and a penetrating opening. Walking wheels are arranged at the bottom of the movable base. The cleaning box is fixed on the movable base; the lifting mechanism comprises at least two lifting assemblies, the output end of each lifting assembly is connected with a connecting piece, each connecting piece is connected with a cleaning cylinder, the diameters of the cleaning cylinders are different, and the circumferential side wall of each cleaning cylinder is provided with a cleaning brush; the slot recognition assembly is arranged at the bottom of the movable base; the penetrating openings are formed in the bottoms of the cleaning cylinders and communicate with the movable base, and each cleaning cylinder penetrates through the corresponding penetrating opening and then extends to the position below the movable base. According to the invention, the cleaning cylinders with different diameters can be selected for cleaning according to the width sizes of different slots, and the situation that when a single brush is adopted for cleaning traditionally, the brush is damaged due to the too small slot is avoided.
