The road and bridge maintenance equipment comprises a moving frame, a rectangular groove is formed in the bottom end of the moving frame, a lead screw is rotationally connected to the top end of the moving frame, a rotating handle is fixedly connected to the side wall of the end, away from the moving frame, of the lead screw, and a sliding plate is in threaded connection with the side wall of the lead screw; and one end of the second connecting rod penetrates through the top wall of the rectangular groove and then is fixedly connected with a cleaning box, a first motor is fixedly connected to the inner side wall of the cleaning box, and a plurality of first bevel gears are fixedly connected to the side wall of the first rotating rod at equal intervals. A first rotating rod and a plurality of first bevel gears are driven to rotate through a first motor, a plurality of second bevel gears are driven to rotate through the meshing effect between the bevel gears, and a plurality of brushes work at the same time, so that debris fragments such as stones on the road surface of a road bridge can be swept, and the situation that the road surface is damaged due to long-time rolling of a vehicle is avoided; and the cleaning efficiency and practicability of roads and bridges are improved.
