The invention discloses a real-time monitoring method for offshore gravel pile construction, which is based on a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) monitoring system, and the PLC monitoring system comprises a GPS (Global Positioning System), a radar range finder, a weighing sensor, an encoder and a main controller. The invention discloses a real-time monitoring method for offshore gravel pile construction. The real-time monitoring method comprises the following steps that firstly, various parameters of gravel piles are input into a display screen of a main controller; secondly, when the pile pipe is vibrated into a soil layer by a certain depth, gravel materials of the two measuring hoppers are added into the pile pipe; thirdly, the pile pipe continues to be vibrated to the designed bottom elevation in the pressure holding state; step 4, carrying out end part treatment; fifthly, the pile pipe is lifted, when the height of the gravel materials in the pile pipe is smaller than 3-5 m, lifting of the pile pipe is stopped immediately, the remaining gravel materials are added into the pile pipe, and then the pile pipe is lifted again; and sixthly, the pile pipe bottom elevation is compared with the designed pile top elevation of the gravel pile, and whether the pile pipe needs to be driven back or not is judged. The pile forming quality of the gravel pile can be effectively controlled.
