The invention belongs to the field of gypsum wall construction methods, and particularly relates to a rapid forming method of a gypsum lightweight wall body, which comprises the following steps: a, selecting a construction position of the gypsum lightweight wall body; b, a water absorption unit is installed between the inner top face of the building position and the ground; and c, the building position is filled with gypsum slurry, the water absorption units are wrapped in the wall body through the gypsum slurry, and the gypsum lightweight wall body is formed. The form that the water absorption units are additionally arranged in the wall body is adopted, so that water in the wall body can be diffused in the inner direction and the outer direction, reduction of the water in the wall body is accelerated, the gypsum lightweight wall body after building is rapidly formed, and the progress requirement of follow-up construction is met.
