The invention relates to a method for butt-joint connection of length-adjustable frame pipes which are scaffold steel vertical pipes, which is characterized by comprising the following steps of: a, providing a section of solid lead screw with the diameter matched with that of the scaffold steel vertical pipes; b, a screw cap adjustable head is provided, the screw cap adjustable head is similar to a connecting sleeve of a nut, horizontal wrenches are symmetrically arranged on the two radial sides of the connecting sleeve, and internal threads of the connecting sleeve are matched with the lead screw; c, the solid lead screw and the screw cap adjustable head are connected, and the solid lead screw penetrates into the connecting sleeve to be movably connected; and d, one end of the lead screw is inserted into the scaffold steel stand pipe, the insertion length of the lead screw is not smaller than 200 mm, the insertion depth is adjusted through a wrench of a screw cap adjustable head, and therefore the installation height after the scaffold pipe is in butt joint is adjusted. The length-adjustable frame pipe butt-joint connection method has the advantages that frame pipe butt-joint connection is firm, strength and rigidity are high, rod piece instability is not prone to occurring, and the height adjusting range is large.
