The invention discloses a foundation pit supporting structure and method for a pipe jacking working well, and the foundation pit supporting structure comprises a main supporting component which surrounds the inner wall of a foundation pit to support the inner wall of the foundation pit; the lining supporting component is arranged in a jacking area of the pipe jacking machine head on the inner side of the main supporting component, and a through hole for the pipe jacking machine head to pass through is reserved in the lining supporting component; the main supporting component corresponding to the jacking area is arranged to be capable of being pulled up from a first position of the bottom of the foundation pit to a second position between the through hole and the top end of the lining supporting component, and the lining supporting component supports the inner wall of the foundation pit corresponding to the jacking area when the main supporting component corresponding to the jacking area is pulled out. The main supporting component does not need to reserve a hole site for the pipe jacking machine head, and can be completely recycled and reused.
