A panel suitable for use as a floor, ceiling or wall panel, the panel being planar and having an upper side, a bottom side and side edges, the side edges comprising a first side edge provided with a first profile and a second side edge provided with a second profile; wherein the first contour and the second contour are interaction contours that can be coupled to each other such that the first panel can be coupled to a second, identical panel in a common plane by means of the interaction contours; wherein the first profile and the second profile in the coupled state are interlocked with each other in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction; wherein the first profile and the second profile are configured to allow coupling of the interaction profile of the first panel with the interaction profile of the second panel by vertically inserting the interaction profile of the first panel into the interaction profile of the second panel.
