The invention discloses automatic light dynamic sounding equipment which comprises a working platform, an automatic hammering device, a sounding device, a digital sensor and a control device, the automatic hammering device, the data sensor and the control device are fixed on the working platform, and the sounding device penetrates through the working platform and penetrates into a rock-soil body under the hammering of the automatic hammering device; the data sensor collects the depth of the penetration of the sounding device into the rock-soil body and the number of times of hammering the sounding device by the automatic hammering device; the control device receives and stores data collected by the data sensor and controls the action of the automatic hammering device. The invention further discloses a dynamic penetration test method, namely the automatic hammering device is used for hammering the penetration test device to enable the penetration test device to penetrate into the rock-soil body to be tested. Compared with a traditional penetration test method, the safety, the accuracy and the objectivity of the dynamic penetration test are comprehensively improved, the penetration efficiency is improved, potential safety hazards in the penetration operation process are avoided, and the labor intensity and the labor cost needed by penetration are greatly reduced.
