The invention belongs to the field of underwater pile foundation construction, and particularly relates to a distributed large pile driving barge and a pile driving method.The distributed large pile driving barge comprises a barge body, an executing mechanism and a power system used for driving the executing mechanism, and the executing mechanism comprises a hoisting winch, a barge moving winch and a pile frame which are arranged on a deck of the barge body; the power system comprises a hoisting winch power system, a ship moving winch power system and a pile frame variable amplitude power system; the hoisting winch power system, the ship moving winch power system and the pile frame variable amplitude power system are respectively arranged close to the hoisting winch, the ship moving winch and the pile frame which are correspondingly driven, and the arrangement distances are shortest; and each power source of the hoisting winch power system, the ship moving winch power system and the pile frame variable amplitude power system is independently driven and controlled by a variable frequency motor. The intelligent control system is used for collecting the operation state of the pile driving barge executing mechanism in real time, and then the operation state of the pile driving barge executing mechanism is controlled and adjusted. Therefore, safe, efficient and economical piling operation under complex working conditions is achieved.
