The invention discloses a gypsum-based sound insulation and heat preservation floor slab system with a geothermal function and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of building materials. The floor slab system comprises a structural layer, a sound insulation and heat preservation layer made of a foaming gypsum-based composite material, a heat insulation layer made of a heat insulation material, a heating layer and a leveling layer made of moisture-proof and mildew-proof gypsum self-leveling mortar which are sequentially arranged from bottom to top. Wherein the sound insulation and heat preservation layer, the heat insulation layer and the leveling layer are all made of gypsum-based homogeneous materials with a micro-expansion effect, and a foundation is provided for firm bonding of the upper layer and the lower layer. On the basis, due to the configuration of all components in a gypsum-based composite material in the sound insulation and heat preservation layer, the configuration of all components in a heat insulation material in the heat insulation layer and the configuration of all components in moisture-proof and mildew-proof gypsum self-leveling mortar in the leveling layer, the sound insulation and heat preservation layer, the heat insulation layer and the leveling layer are firmly bonded, and displacement is avoided. Under the formula system, the floor slab system does not crack by utilizing the micro-expansion effect of the gypsum, and the problems of hollowing and cracking of the existing floor slab are solved.
