Parking method and parking auxiliary system
A parking operation of a vehicle from a starting position to a parking position in a vertical parking space includes determining a trajectory into the parking position, the trajectory having at least one parking movement and possibly one or more correction movements including a change in direction. A barrier line is defined that extends in a straight line and longitudinally passes through the vehicle in the starting position. If the trajectory provides one or more corrective motions, it is determined whether the vehicle will exit the barrier line during a non-last parking motion or a non-last corrective motion. If it will leave the blocking line, a signal is output that interrupts the trajectory. The interruption may include alerting and/or determining a modified trajectory that prevents the vehicle from leaving the barrier line during a non-last parking motion.
