The invention relates to the technical field of assembly type buildings, in particular to a prefabricated building structure for an assembly type building, which comprises an assembly main beam and a cantilever member beam, the assembling main beam is connected with the cantilever component beam in a clamping manner through a clamping mechanism; wherein two sets of first clamping grooves are oppositely formed in the assembly main beam, two sets of first clamping bases used for being connected with the first clamping grooves in a matched and inserted mode are oppositely arranged on the cantilever component beam, assembly cavities are formed in the first clamping grooves in the two sides, and second clamping bases are arranged in the assembly cavities in a sliding mode; the cantilever component beam is provided with a second clamping groove, the second clamping groove is used for being matched and connected with the second clamping base in an inserted mode, and compared with the prior art that the assembled main beam and the cantilever component beam are connected and fixed through a plurality of sets of bolts and steel bars, the clamping mechanism is more convenient to install and higher in efficiency; and a floor scaffold or a bailey beam support frame is not needed for construction.
