The invention relates to a method for preparing a roadbed filling material from engineering muck, and belongs to the technical field of muck treatment.The method comprises the following steps that S1, muck is crushed and screened through crushing equipment; s2, the muck screened within the particle size range and a curing material are mixed and stirred through a stirring device; the stirring device comprises a stirring barrel, a stirring shaft coaxially and rotatably connected into the stirring barrel and a plurality of stirring blades fixed to the stirring shaft, a driving mechanism used for driving the stirring shaft to rotate in a reciprocating mode is arranged on the stirring barrel, and an annular scraping plate is arranged on the inner circumferential face of the stirring barrel; a linkage mechanism for driving the annular scraping plate to ascend or descend when the stirring shaft rotates is arranged between the stirring shaft and the annular scraping plate; s3, after mixing and stirring are completed, detection and acceptance are conducted. The stirring device can improve the stirring and mixing effect of the muck and the curing material.
