The invention relates to a steel pipe pile sinking method and pile sinking equipment thereof, and relates to the technical field of steel pipe pile construction. The method comprises the following steps that a guide frame is installed at a target pile sinking position, and a lifting rope is wound on the guide frame; lifting holes are formed in the two ends of the steel pipe pile respectively, a lifting hook is inserted into each lifting hole, the lifting hook at one end is connected with a lifting machine, the lifting hook at the other end is connected with a lifting rope, and the other end of the lifting rope is wound on a guide frame; the lifting machine is started to lift the steel pipe pile, and the lifting rope on the guide frame is wound so that the lower end of the steel pipe pile can be inserted into the guide frame under the self-weight effect and traction of the lifting rope; the lifting hooks at the bottom ends of the steel pipe piles are separated from the lifting holes, and the steel pipe piles penetrate through the guide frames and are inserted into soil; and the steel pipe pile is hammered, and real-time monitoring is conducted through an unmanned aerial vehicle carrying a camera till the steel pipe pile is hammered to the elevation position in the soil. The device has the effects that the hoisting and hammering efficiency of the steel pipe pile is improved, and then the pile sinking construction efficiency of the steel pipe pile is improved.
