A waterfall type water outlet device comprises a water inlet body provided with a water inlet channel, and is characterized by further comprising a flow dividing body, the flow dividing body is connected with the water inlet body in an inserted mode and provided with a water outlet channel, the water outlet channel is communicated with the water inlet channel, and at least one flow dividing split is arranged on the inner wall, close to the middle, of the water outlet channel. A hydrophobic layer is arranged on the surface of the split-flow wedge. Water flow in the water outlet channel is shunted through the shunting split, the friction force of the water flow is increased, the surface tension of liquid flowing through the shunting split is reduced in cooperation with the hydrophobic layer on the surface of the shunting split, therefore, the polycondensation phenomenon is reduced, waterfall water outlet closer to a rectangle is formed, the overall structure is simple, the number of parts is small, and cost is low.
