The invention provides a traction device and method. The traction device comprises a driving device, winding equipment connected with the driving device, an air pump and an air bag arranged at the end of the winding equipment. Wherein the air bag is used for being arranged at the end of a to-be-dragged structural part in a sleeving mode in advance in an uninflated state; the air pump is used for inflating the air bag, so that the inflated air bag is in limiting connection with the to-be-dragged structural member; the winding equipment is used for driving the inflated air bag and the to-be-dragged structure located in the air bag to move, and traction of the to-be-dragged structure is completed. By means of the traction device, traction operation on the structural part can be simply and rapidly completed.
