The invention discloses refractory mortar for a semi-steel tank slag line, which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 41-49 parts of aluminum silicon carbide carbon brick powder; 21-33 parts of sintered magnesium powder; 3-8 parts of kyanite; 6-10 parts of Guangxi white mud; 4-8 parts of aluminum oxide micro powder; 1-2 parts of silica powder; 1-3 parts of asphalt; 4 to 8 parts of CA-70 cement; 0.5 to 1 part of borax; 0.1 to 0.15 part of sodium hexametaphosphate; and 1-4 parts of calcium lignosulphonate. The refractory material at the slag line brick part of the semi-steel tank has relatively high high-temperature breaking strength, relatively high thermal shock resistance and relatively high slag adhesion resistance.
