The invention relates to a post-installation construction method for a large-tonnage support of a large-span long-connection highway-railway dual-purpose continuous steel truss girder. The post-installation construction method comprises the following steps that a temporary support is installed; steel truss girders and highway bridge deck slabs are erected, the steel girders at the tops of the piers are jacked, pier top hogging moment area wet joints are constructed, transverse and longitudinal prestress is tensioned, the girders are dropped, and all the steel truss girders are folded and installed into an integral continuous steel truss girder; a slideway is installed corresponding to the position of a middle truss of the steel truss bridge, and the whole continuous steel truss girder is jacked; the temporary support is pulled away, a formal support is installed, and grouting is conducted in the formal support; and the formal support obtained after grouting is completed is maintained, and after maintenance is completed, the whole continuous steel truss girder falls onto the formal support. According to the embodiment of the invention, the temporary support is firstly mounted, then the steel truss girder is assembled, finally the assembled steel truss girder is jacked, and the formal support is mounted through the slide way, so that the technical problem that the formal support is difficult to mount in a narrow construction space is effectively solved, and the mounting precision and quality of the formal support are ensured.
