The invention discloses a formwork supporting device for fixing a post-cast strip formwork and a using method. The formwork supporting device comprises an upper bearing piece, a lower bearing piece and a supporting barrel. The upper bearing piece and the lower bearing piece are fixedly installed at the two ends of the vertically-arranged supporting barrel respectively. A first installation hole and a second installation hole are symmetrically formed in the left end and the right end of the upper end face of the upper bearing piece respectively, a steel pipe jacking is installed in the first installation hole, and a flat plate jacking is installed in the second installation hole. The upper bearing piece is provided with a limiting assembly used for limiting vertical displacement of the steel pipe jacking and the flat plate jacking. The original two rows of post-cast strip back-jacking supports are changed into one row of supports, so that the use amount of other supporting equipment is greatly reduced, and the problem that a large amount of tedious work such as mounting and dismounting is included in the process of supporting a post-cast strip template in the building industry is solved.
