A connecting piece for an aluminum alloy door and window comprises a connecting lock box, connecting mechanisms are arranged at the two ends of the connecting lock box, each connecting mechanism comprises a connecting assembly and a connecting locking assembly, and each connecting assembly comprises a base connecting rod connected with the connecting lock box and an overlapping connecting rod arranged on the side, away from the connecting lock box, of the base connecting rod; the connecting locking assemblies are arranged between the base connecting rods and the overlapping connecting rods, the two ends of each connecting locking assembly correspond to the base connecting rods, the overlapping connecting rods and the overlapping connecting rods, the corresponding connecting locking assemblies are arranged between the adjacent overlapping connecting rods, and the overlapping connecting rods are connected through the corresponding connecting locking assemblies.
