The invention relates to the technical field of constructional engineering, in particular to a construction method of a residential floor radiant heating system, which comprises the following steps of: forming a waterproof sloping layer which slopes towards a toilet on a ground base layer, forming a heat insulating layer and a protective layer on the waterproof sloping layer, paving a floor heating coil, forming a steel wire mesh, and paving a protective cushion layer. Then a filling layer pouring process is carried out under pressure, in the filling layer maintenance process, a pressure gauge is used for detecting the floor heating coil pipe so that whether the floor heating coil pipe is damaged or not can be detected in time in the filling layer pouring and maintenance process, and the floor heating coil pipe is protected through a protection cushion layer formed by splicing a plurality of protection cushion blocks; the protective cushion layer is used for preventing the problem of water leakage of the coil pipe during subsequent construction by personnel or machinery after laying of the floor heating coil pipe is completed, the risk of water leakage of the coil pipe is greatly reduced, and the protective cushion layer has the advantages of being reusable, low in cost and good in protective effect.
